Apart from being a trade-qualified Horticulturist, professional and honest, a hard worker who doesn't swear (even though he's a Scotsman!) and a really good bloke, Tom Dunlop will:
Show you how to win back leisure time
(reduce heavy garden maintenance);
Optimise views and reduce the risk of infrastructure damage
(some trees are going to be much bigger than you think!);
Save you money
(make better use of your plant specimens or choose hardier alternatives).
Tom will help you create, update and maintain your garden to be a beautiful place to relax and enjoy with family and friends.
Background
Tom is a trade-qualified Horticulturist, having apprenticed and then worked as a gardener at the Royal Botanic Gardens and Centennial Parklands, Sydney.
From collecting plants in the wild with Royal Botanic Garden botanists, nurturing various plant collections in the glasshouse & nursery, to planting themed beds with annuals for a vibrant public display. Pruning the rose garden, mowing the lawns of Government House and later moving on to manage a team of horticulturists and turf maintenance workers at Centennial Parklands, Tom's passion for horticulture continued.
Tom went on to gain the Associate Diploma in Applied Science (Landscaping) and the Certificate in Tree Surgery and worked with a small landscaping business across Sydney before relocating with his wife and 3 daughters to Noosa in 1999.
Tom established his gardening business, Earth Garden Work to provide expert gardening advice and high quality garden maintenance services to properties from Noosa to the Hinterland. That includes Cooroibah, Cooroy, Doonan, Eumundi, Tewantin, and Tinbeerwah.
